As part of a group assignment for a technical writing course, my group and I edited and re-wrote a text-only volunteer manual to create these two user-friendly manuals, which include diagrams, useful pictures, term definitions, and several other features.
Advertising design
- Big Louie's Gourmet Pizza ad (PDF) - This is a mock-up advertisement for a fictional pizza parlor. This is a course assignment that involved creating a black and white advertisement to fit in a typical newspaper’s ad section. I decided to keep the advertisement as elegantly simple as possible, creating and illustrating the character of “Big Louie” as a pizza-headed 1930s-type gangster.
Web design
- KaiJansson.com - I designed this web site, which I use as my online portfolio, in small stages over several months. The look of the site came about through tinkering and re-tinkering with the HTML code until I was happy with the result.

- CacMissions.ca (external link) - I designed this web site for the Missions ministry at Coquitlam Alliance Church after being referred by a friend who worked there. This project took several months as I transformed plain documents into an attractive, useful site. I continue to update the site as needed.
